[insert my overexcited face here]
My very good friend whom I haven’t seen since June 2008, so more than 3 and a half years ago, but which felt like a lifespan (with no cellmate) just told me she got her visa to come to France, so she should be in Paris in a week and a half.
You have no idea how long the next 10 days will be.

Fame is weird
I remember when Jean Dujardin was this actor playing in those very short yet very popular comedy skits on TV, and now he’s everywhere on the web, nominated for the Oscars or whatever and crazy shit like that.
Good for him, he deserves it.

Live by yourself and for yourself.
Don’t let anyone close enough to hurt you.
Don’t believe in love. Or family. Or anything.
I’m starting to think it’s all worth it in the end.
How does one deal with all this shit?

adriennemae answered your question: Joy Division or New Order?
Joy Division. Ian Curtis.
Concise, precise and full of truth.
Ian Curtis is just one of the best vocalists/LYRICISTS ever in my humble opinion.

Yeah even though New Order is really “ecstatic” music to me and sort of gives me a boost I’ll always admire JD for how economical they were with their sound..everyone in the band keeps it simple but it’s still some of the most emotive music ever made
Exactly, they can blow your head off or twist...

darkened-underpass answered your question: Joy Division or New Order?
I always assumed Joy Division but man I’ve been New Order-ing really hard this week and now I don’t know :’(
But isn’t there a sound or something that will draw you more towards one of them? You’re pretty much a big guitar rock person, so wouldn’t you prefer JD, in general?

Joy Division or New Order?
I’m aware they’re almost two completely different bands, but who do you guys prefer?! and perhaps more importantly, why?!
I asked this on my twitter but I might have more answers here.
I’ve always wondered what were the odds.
Thank you!

visualinfidelity:
Interpol frontman Paul Banks released a solo album in 2009 under his alter ego Julian Plenti, titled Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper in 2009. Now, he’s at work on a new solo album for Matador that may or may not be released under the Plenti moniker. It’s due later this year.
Well this wasn’t a ‘Hot News’ for me at all. I’ve read it from a Pitchfork’s tweet! but like I said...

I downloaded their album *because you said* and it’s awesome and I’ve been loving it. #Nic has the best taste in music
I agree with everything you just said haha. But seriously, thanks for paying attention to my ramblings.
Also, it’s reassuring to know you can be two and still sound great.

I KNOW it’s like I can almost buy a decent used guitar for that instead ;_;
Exactly…I’ll have to pick a cheaper reverb if I find a cool one, even though I’m not sure how it would sound on bass. But I love reverb too much not to try.
