Hi. I'm Nic. In my 20s, 16 in my head. I hate a lot of things, but what I love, I love truly.
Daydreamer, moody, music and film lover. I'm pretty unique, just like everyone else.
I enjoy Interpol, creepy things, NYC, nighttime, poetry & lyrics, the noise of the rain, the ocean, the sky, listening to music loud, travelling, singing, playing drums or bass, being fanboyish, being pretentious and arrogant just for fun, drinking cold milk, waiting, straying and questioning everything.
Interpol frontman Paul Banks released a solo album in 2009 under his alter ego Julian Plenti, titled Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper in 2009. Now, he’s at work on a new solo album for Matador that may or may not be released under the Plenti moniker. It’s due later this year.
Well this wasn’t a ‘Hot News’ for me at all. I’ve read it from a Pitchfork’s tweet! but like I said I’ve already known the posibility that Paul Banks new solo album “May or May Not” be released under the Plenti moniker. How have I known it?I’ve known this since last year when I’ve met him in the last gig of Interpol tour in Argentina, on November 9th, 2011. I talked with Paul Banks about ‘Julian Plenti’- he was very interested when I picked that subject, It was like his eyes were sparkling of thrill) and he confessed me that maybe his new solo album won’t be under Julian Plenti name ( and he looked kinda sad). He told me that Matador Records was unhappy about the sale of the album, ( and I was like Oh Shit! I can’t believe it! It can’t be posible!) He was like ’ Yes that’s what they say’. But he advertised me That’s a secret!- and I was like Are you kidding me!- Only a few people know about it.
So when that was published on Pitchfork, sounds like official that posibility, and I wasn’t dreaming! It was a relief for me. (
Anyway we have to wait for his new solo album and I bet he will surprise us. I’m sure. Like always.oh no you don’t do JP like that Matador! what are you thinking?! tisk tisk
It wasn’t my fault if the sells weren’t good, I have both the CD and the vinyl. /fanboy
